The 9th edition of the Barcelona Global Energy Challenges 2014 presenting its potential reflected in content, to continue being one of the Energy conferences most followed in Barcelona! Thanks to the institutions that have supported us, especially the Government of Catalonia and the City Council of Barcelona, as well as the centres of research and investigation of the IREC and the MIT, It has been possible to be present in the calendar of international events of energy in Catalonia for the last eight years.
This 9th edition is structured in a 5 plenary session of different MIT (USA) and York University (Canada) experts and our European environment.
We already have two highlighted experts from USA and Canada confirmed: Professor Jose Etcheverry, York University (Canada), Professor Keith A. Nelson and Professor Yuriy Román from Massachussetts Institute of Technology (USA).
At midday we will share sessions with young researchers from the IREC and Centres of CIT- UPC, and for the afternoon we programed different workshops led by the MIT, the IREC, the Barcelona energy Agency and the KIC InnoEnergy. The workshops will give us the opportunity to share knowledge, reflections, doubts and proposals of the energy sector with the greatest leaders of each subject.
